Gothenburg, home of Europe's best hotel bar
In the words of the awarding jury, the bar has excelled in taking inspiration from its surroundings and has created a destination for both hotel guests and locals. They highlighted the determination to challenge traditional hotel bars by creating a meeting place out of the ordinary.
This is not the first time this unique bar has attracted international praise. Last year, the restaurant was the European Hotel Design Awards winner in the ‘Europe's best designed bar’ category.
“I am incredibly proud to have won this prestigious competition. We are competing with the very top layer of the hotel and restaurant world, so it is truly an honor. Our concept is truly unique, genuine and something we are proud of,” says Malin Franck, General Manager of the Radisson Blu Riverside Hotel.
Cuckoo’s Nest is located on the quayside in the fast growing Lindholmen Science Park area of Gothenburg.
