Andersen Bakery
Japanese baker Shunsuke Takaki fell in love with Danish pastry 55 years ago and took it back to Hiroshima with him. The fairy-tale continues with a pastry empire stretching from Chinese Hong Kong to Los Angeles, named for H.C. Andersen. There are three bakeries in Copenhagen, one of which is inside the Nimb Hotel in Tivoli Gardens.
