Sightseeing
For a quick look at Oslo’s beauty, jog to Ekebergparken on a route through the Old Town. A more leisurely approach is to hop on a number 19 streetcar to the stop with the same name. Enjoy a walk and sculptures by international and Norwegian artists, right in the park. For lunch, Ekebergrestauranten offers lovely views of the city and fjord.

Classic entertainment
The fantastic Oslo Opera House is right on the fjord. You can even walk on the roof and see the progress of the new Munch Museum, designed by Estudio Herrero. And of course, there’s the opera and ballet. This fall, the program includes a concert by Sami singer Mari Boine and Swan Lake.
